Attimi is an intimate 28-seat modern Italian fine dining restaurant in Paddington, led by award-winning chef Dario Manca. Recently named the Best New Restaurant in QLD & NT, we offer an elevated dining experience celebrating refined Italian cuisine with contemporary flair.

Guests enjoy a choice of two set menus on weekends—8 or 12 courses—designed to highlight a journey through regional Italian cooking. Mid-week, diners can also explore a seasonal à la carte offering. Our beverage list features an expertly curated selection of rare and regional Italian wines alongside standout producers from France and Australia.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Front of House professional to join our dynamic team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, fine dining, and exceptional guest service to step into a leadership role and help shape the guest experience at one of Brisbane’s most exciting new restaurants.

You’ll work closely with our management team to ensure smooth and polished service, act as a role model for junior staff, and take pride in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest. You’ll bring a calm presence and leadership during service and a sharp eye for detail, ensuring standards are always high.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and maintain a consistently high standard of service in line with our fine dining philosophy

  • Lead and support the FOH team during service, acting as second in charge to the Restaurant Manager

  • Confidently manage guest interactions, resolve any issues with professionalism and grace

  • Assist with training and mentoring junior team members

  • Manage bookings, floor plans, and service flow

  • Ensure smooth communication between front and back of house

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the menu and beverage offerings

  • Uphold hygiene, safety and service standards at all times

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior FOH role in a fine dining or high-end hospitality venue

  • Natural leadership qualities and a team-focused mindset

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure

  • A genuine passion for food, wine, and delivering a world-class guest experience

  • Availability to work nights and weekends

  • RSA required

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Sommelier
Food & Beverage Supervisor
Waitstaff (Fine Dining)

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Experience + Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sommelier in a similar role.
  • Assistant managing skills 
  • Extensive knowledge of local and international wines, with a passion for continuous learning.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and train a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • CMS Certified equivalent or higher
